Yuzvendra Chahal removed Aneurin Donald (21) and Wayne Madsen (47). The most fascinating part of his spell was removing Alex Thomson (2) and Jack Morley (0) in successive balls in a two-wicket maiden over. Before this double attack, the Indian spinner had dismissed Zak Chappell for a duck.

Chahal was part of India’s squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup but did not play a single match as the team management opted for Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav during their victorious campaign in the US and West Indies. His last appearance for India He was in a T20I against West Indies in 2023.
The star bowler has come into his own in the 2024 County Championship, and it is a great display of his class and determination after the recent setbacks in his international career. If he maintains his form, Chahal can be picked for the T20I series against Bangladesh.
