Indian captain KL Rahul was at his best during the ongoing third ODI against South Africa. The decisive match between the two teams will take place at Boland Park in Paarl.

KL Rahul behind the stumps has got the game right. Be it maintaining, taking DRS calls and captaincy, he has been brilliant. However, he stole the show with the cheeky question he asked South African spinner Keshav Maharaj.

When Keshav Maharaj came out to bat after Wiaan Mulder’s wicket fell, the DJ at the stadium played the song ‘Ram Siya Ram’. The Indian captain looked stunned and cheekily went to the South African spinner and asked if DJ plays this song every time he comes out to bat.

In the video that has gone viral on the Internet, KL Rahul is heard asking Keshav Maharaj: “Keshav bhai every time you come to bat they play this song.” Responding to which the Proteas spinner said: “Of”.

Here is the video:

Keshav Maharaj batted well in the game and despite losing wickets at the other end, he tried to stay there till the end but couldn’t. He also survived a close call as the umpire gave him lbw, but he took the DRS and saved his wicket. He scored 14 runs off 27 balls before Arshdeep Singh removed him.

KL Rahul, on the other hand, has been nothing short of exceptional in the game. After making a useful contribution with the bat, he has made brilliant turns in the bowling. He has also made amazing catches, in addition to getting DRS calls right.

The bowlers have put India in a dominant position in the ongoing game. They are on the verge of winning the game as they have removed all the frontline batsmen, putting South Africa under pressure.

A win here would mean India would clinch the series by a 2-1 margin. They started the series on a high by defeating the opposition by 8 wickets. However, after that, Proteas made a strong comeback in the second series to level the series.
