India captain Rohit Sharma was stunned by the way his opening partner Virat Kohli came out in the ongoing match against the United States of America (USA) in the T20 World Cup 2024. The match between the two teams will take place in Nassau County. New York International Cricket Stadium.
India did not get the kind of start with the bat that they would have wanted in the chase. After restricting the United States of America to just 110 runs, they got off to a torrid start when Virat Kohli fell on the first ball he faced at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
On the second ball of the first over, Saurabh Netravalkar bowled a full toss that headed towards right, which the batsman wanted to feel for. He moved it away from his body and caught the outer edge of the bat which was caught by the bouncer.
What caught attention were many reactions from Rohit Sharma after Virat Kohli’s exit. The Indian captain, who was standing at the other end, looked stunned and could not believe that his first batsman got a golden duck in the game against the United States of America.
