The BCCI invited the application after former head of selection Chetan Sharma resigned from the position. The former Indian pacemaker made some eye-opening revelations that rocked the Indian cricketing fraternity. Not only this, he also talked about internal team conversations in a sting operation conducted by a news channel.

The last date to submit applications for the position of member of the selection committee for men is June 30. It is quite apparent that BCCI wants to appoint a new team manager with the 2023 Asia Cup and 2023 World Cup just around the corner.
