The first T20I of the three-match T20I series between India and Bangladesh will take place tomorrow in Gwalior. India has a strong team, with several winning players from top to bottom.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav will find it difficult to settle on an XI as the depth and quality of the team is insane. However, he must filter out the best and form an ideal eleven that should come out on top against a quality Bangladesh team.

Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson are confirmed as openers and will form an excellent LHB-RHB combination at the top. Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav, the country’s best T20I batsman, will be at No. 3 and will look to take the innings at an ideal pace.

Riyan Parag should take the number 4 position and start as a spin bowling all-rounder who would also bowl a couple of overs with the ball if required. Shivam Dube has been ruled out due to a back injury, which would open the door for Nitish Kumar Reddy, who could take over at No. 5 and play as an all-rounder.

Hardik Pandya, the country’s best white-ball all-rounder, should occupy the No. 6 position and contribute with both bat and ball. He will provide much-needed balance to the team.

Rinku Singh, the batsman, will bat in the lower order and should be in the No. 7 position for this game. He will bat as a finisher and put the finishing touch on the innings, something he has done for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and India in his career in the shortest format.

Varun Chakravarthy, who is back in the team after a sensational IPL 2024, should also make it to the XI and will be the team’s first spinner specialist. Arshdeep Singh should be the left-arm pacer and take up the No. 9 slot, while Ravi Bishnoi will be the second spinner and No. 10 in the playing XI.
