IND vs AUS

India take on Australia in a crucial Super 8 match in St. Lucia on Monday, June 24. India, along with South Africa, are the only two unbeaten teams so far in the tournament. Australia’s winning streaks ended with a shock defeat to Afghanistan in the previous game by 27 runs.

So far, India has won against Ireland, Pakistan, USA and Afghanistan. Their match against Canada was abandoned due to rain. They had a bit of annoyance against Afghanistan and lost the first few matches quickly but SKY and Hardik Pandya pulled them to safety.

Openers Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be the focus of attention when India takes on Australia in their final Super 8 match on Monday. Another major point of contention could be Shivam Dube’s place in Xi.

The likes of Sanju Samson and even Rinku Singh are waiting in the wings. Ravindra Jadeja has not been as useful with the bat as in the other two formats for India and hence there are some points to discuss.
