India and South Africa will face each other in the second T20I. India vs South Africa 2nd T20I will take place on Tuesday, December 12. India’s tour of South Africa 2023-24 consisted of three T20I games. However, the opening clash was completely washed out due to rain at Durban’s Kingsmead Stadium. Without the toss, the match was abandoned.

India and South Africa last faced each other in a bilateral T20I series in October last year. In the three-match home series, India won 2-1. The men in blue dismantled the Proteas in the 1st and 2nd games by 8 wickets and 16 runs respectively. They lost the final match by 49 runs.

India last played a T20I series in South Africa in February 2018. The Virat Kohli-led team had crushed the Proteas 2-1 in the series. India won the first game by 28 runs but lost the second match by 6 wickets. India subsequently won the final match by 7 runs to secure the series in their favour.
