The Indian batting coach SitaShu Kotak felt to drop Karun Nair for the fourth test in Manchester does not mean that the possibilities of veteran batter have finished with the national team.
However, he refrained from talking about the reason behind sharpening the 33 -year -old player of XI, saying that it is a question for Captain Shubman Gill and chief coach Gautam Gambhir responding.
Karun Nair fell for the Manchester test, Sai Sudharsan failed in the second entrance
Nair, who returned to the national team after eight long years in the national circuit, began the series with a duck in Headingley, but managed to score 131 races from six tickets. After trying playing Sai Sudharsan and Nair in that game, which did not yield the desired results, India promoted Nair to No.3 in the batting order and banking to Sudharsan.
Nair pulling his wickt in the second tickets against Brydon Crse had greatly contributed to the first -order collapse of India in the third test in Lord’s, since 22 steps below a 193 target fell under a target.
With the series on the line and an injury to the SUVISH Kumar Reddy SUV, India chose Shardul Thakur in his place and replaced Nair with Sudharsan at number 3. Although Sudharsan seemed less confident in his second exit in the tests, he managed to eliminate 61 races in the first tickets at Old Trafford.

However, in the second tickets, he was out of a golden duck in the first of Chris Woakes, leaving India in a precarious position of 0/2.
When asked about Nair’s exclusion at the press conference, Kotak replied:
“Selection matters coach Gautam Gambhir and Captain Shubman Gill that he can talk about. I will not be right talking about that. When Gill said we will support, it will have meant that he would have meant it as a batter. He did not do much, he began.”
India Alive in the series after the heroic of Shubman Gill and Kl Rahul
Gill, who was hitting at number 3 previously, moved to number 4 after the retirement of Virat Kohli while India seeks to find a mass for the crucial position.
Before the start of the series, Gambhir had said that Nair will have a good amount of opportunities, since he had won his place in the Indian team after years of accumulations in the domestic circuit.
Like Nair in Lord’s, his replacement for Sudharsan had also lost his wickt at a crucial situation of the party. If it were not for the Gill pattern (78 it was not) and the undefeated association of KL Rahul (87 was not) of 174, India would have been looking at a massive defeat of entries.
