GT vs SRH and DC vs CSK were on the cards in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on Sunday (March 31). The first match between Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad took place in Ahmedabad, while the second match between Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings took place in Visakhapatnam.
In the GT vs SRH game, Gujarat Titans won the game with 7 wickets in hand. They batted and bowled superbly well and won the game to register their second victory of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Narendra Modi International Stadium in Ahmedabad.
He was asked to bowl, due to a sensational three-wicket haul by Sunrisers Hyderabad limited a total of 162 runs. Abdul Samad was the star with the bat as he scored 29 runs, while Abhishek Sharma also scored the same runs for his team.
Gujarat Titans were brilliant in the chase as Shubman Gill (36) and Wriddhiman Saha (25) started quite well. After that, Sai Sudharsan (45) and David Miller (44) came together and helped the team win the game by 7 wickets at the Narendra Modi International Stadium in Ahmedabad.
In the DC vs CSK match, Delhi Capitals took a comfortable 20-run victory and won their first match of the season. When asked to bat, they scored a total of 191 runs on the board. David Warner (52) and Prithvi Shaw (43) started quite well and added 91 runs in partnership.
Rishabh Pant (51) then ended the innings on a high and Delhi Capitals posted a total of 191 runs on the board. The team led by Rishabh Pant was tremendous with the ball as they executed their plans well and defended the target with ease.
Ajinkya Rahane (45), MS Dhoni (37*) and Daryl Mitchell (34) did their best but the target was too much and Delhi won the game by 20 runs. This was Chennai Super Kings’ first loss of the tournament.

After the 12th match of GT vs SRH and the 13th match of DC vs CSK, Kolkata Knight Riders secured the first place in the table, while Chennai Super Kings were moved to the second place. Rajasthan Royals retained the third place, while Gujarat Titans bagged the fourth place. Sunrisers Hyderabad are in fifth place, followed by LSG, DC and PBKS. RCB and MI are the last two teams in the table.
