Dhoni is one of the best and most successful captains of the Indian cricket team. MSD is the only Indian captain to have won three ICC trophies and has also won five IPL titles with the Chennai Super Kings. In addition to being a successful leader, MSD also knows how to prepare players.

MS Dhoni has groomed many players like R Ashwin, Shardul Thakur, Rohit Sharma and many more under his captaincy. One such player is Indian all-rounder Shivam Dube, who played a winning knock in the first IND vs AFG T20I match and credited MS Dhoni for the same.

Shivam Dube, while speaking in the post-match interview, stated that he continues to implement the tactics he learned from MS Dhoni every time he comes into bat. Dube further added that he continues to talk to MSD who guides him on how to deal with difficult situations.

Shivam Dube said: “When I started batting, I wanted to implement what I learned from MS Dhoni on how to finish games. I keep talking to Mahi bhai. It tells me how to approach different situations. He has given me two or three tips and graded my batting. So, I feel if he rates my batting, I will continue to play well. My confidence increased because of that.”
