Legendary Australian captain Ricky Ponting will take on a new role in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025). Ponting is believed to be in talks with Punjab Kings, though nothing is official yet.
Ponting was the head coach of Delhi Capitals till last season but was sacked from the post just a few months ago as the Delhi Capitals management is possibly looking for an Indian coach.
