“It’s almost like a war” – Shan Masood explains how they will approach the sled

Pakistan Test captain Shan Masood spoke about how they will approach sledging the Australian players. The two teams are scheduled to face each other in the three-match Test series, starting on December 14 in Perth.

Shan Masood, who was recently named Pakistan’s Test skipper, will face his biggest challenge in his first assignment. Pakistan has always struggled Australia and this time another difficult challenge awaits them.

In addition to the fiery conditions, they will also face the threat of players. The Australian players are absolute beasts at home and apart from that, Pakistan will also have to face their sledging. The Australians are not easy on anyone and it is expected that this time it will be the same.

Shan Masood said that they will not investigate those things much, but going out into the field is like war and they will be prepared for anything. He added that he has passed messages to his players to stick with what makes them comfortable. Speaking to Cricket Pakistan, he stated:

“Look, we don’t look at these things specifically because we know that all the players represent their country and play with passion on the field. It’s almost like a war, so it can be part of tactics and the main objective is to distract the batter or bowler. Players past and present have encountered this and we all know how to handle it responsibly. The message is to continue with what makes us feel comfortable.”

AUS vs PAK: Fan support matters a lot – Shan Masood

Shan Masood further highlighted the importance of fans, saying that it is important for them that fans support them. He explained:

“Fan support is very important, I remember how passionate the Pakistani fans were during the T20 World Cup last year. Whether it’s Sydney or Melbourne, we get a lot of support. It is very important for us that they support us and it would be good if everyone could unite and neutralize the local public.”

The first Test match between Pakistan and Australia will be played in Perth from December 14. Attention will then focus on the second match, which will be played from December 27 in Melbourne. The final match will take place in Sydney from January 3.
