Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Capitals (DC) is looking for a new coach for the upcoming edition of the tournament. This comes after the franchise sacked Ricky Ponting as the team’s head coach following a poor season.
According to News 18 reports, the franchise is in talks with two former World Cup winners for the position of head coach and mentor. The reports also claimed that current director of cricket Sourav Ganguly is unlikely to take up the role of head coach.
It is learnt that the franchise wants a hands-on head coach who has experience in both international and domestic cricket. The franchise owners want an aggressive coach like Gautam Gambhir who can work hard.
