Jammu & Kashmir’s top-order batsman Shubham Khajuria became the first player to score a double century in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season.

Khajuria brought out his double ton on Day 2 of the ongoing match against Maharashtra. He lost his opening partner, right-hander Abhinav Puri, in the first over of the first day’s play for a duck, but continued on, building important partnerships with each batsman who came in next.
