The young Indian Cricket player Shaikh Rasheed had a time to appreciate when he made his IPL debut for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in a game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) last week. Rasheed scored 27 19 -ball races while opening against Lucknow Super Giants.

He followed him with a 19 of Mumbai’s Indians (MI) of 20 balls against Mumbai on Sunday. According to Shaikh Balisha Vali, Rasheed’s father, Mrs. Dhoni said Chennai Super Kings would take care of the young man.

Chennai Super Kings had acquired Shaikh Rasheed for INR 20 Lakh in 2023. This was after Rasheed scored 201 Four games races in the successful 2022 T20 World Cup campaign in India. He scored two half centuries during the process.

“CSK informed us that they will choose it at the auction. They told us that they followed it from the days U-16. As soon as the U-19 World Cup won, they chose it. Before CSK, the Rasheed game was built around the defense. After going there, he learned of the attack game. He introduced me to Mrs. Dhoni in 2023,” the defense was built for the express defense.

Jharkhand’s Cricket player told Shaikh Rasheed’s father: “Leave Rasheed’s career a lot. We really like his discipline and play. He leaves his career a lot, he only takes care of his physical condition and give him good food when he gets home.”

When he was seven years old, Rasheed participated in a Cricket Summer Camp in Uppal with 300 other players who were twice as their age. The coaches in the camp soon noticed the great impact skills of Shaikh Rasheed and encouraged to give their son a complete Crick coaching.

“Before this, I didn’t know I was so talented, but after this, I took him daily to practice and brought him back home,” Balisha said.

How Shaikh Rasheed improved his batting skills

Rasheed improved his batting under the former Andhra Ag Prasad Cricket player and returned to Guntur, his hometown, to undergo judgments. He was then selected in the U-14 Andhra team and on the Gunter Zilla U-16 team.

His father suffered a difficult time, changing between jobs and even working as a daily salary worker to meet his son’s needs. “I started working as a daily salary employee in a vegetable market, selling vegetables and fruits. I used to make sure I was able to win 600-800 every day for a small job,” said Balisha.

In 2022, Rasheed made his first -class debut for Andhra in a Ranji trophy match against services. Rasheed scored 23 races and 43 races in the two entrances respectively. To date, Rasheed has played 19 first -class games and scored 1204 races, including seven fifty -two centuries.

He even scored a double century in a Ranji trophy match against Hyderabad in November 2024, a few days before the Mega Mega Mega 2025 auction that took place in Saudi Arabia.
