A Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star will remain uncovered after not being selected for the third T20I between India and Bangladesh. The official BCCI management released an update confirming that he did not travel with the team due to a viral infection.

“UPDATE: Mr Harshit Rana was not available for selection for the third T20I due to a viral infection and did not travel with the team to the stadium.” Read the official statement.

It is good news for KKR fans because Harshit can now be retained as an unlimited player ahead of the IPL 2025 auction. Initially, he was supposed to debut for India in this game because India would have rested some players for the final game since that the series was sealed.
