Rajasthan Royals (RR) suffered a defeat of eight wickt against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defense champions in its second IPL 2025 match.

Against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad, players from Rajasthan Royals players had a day to forget while the hosts recorded a total of 243/5, on the back of an undefeated century of Isehan Kishan (106*) and half a century of Travis Head (67). Rajasthan Royals Pacer Jofra Archer ended with figures of 0/76 in that game and endured figures without Wickt without Wickt against Kolkata Knight Riders (0/33 in 2.3 overs).

In Wednesday’s match, Kolkata Knight Riders had previously won the raffle and opted for the first field.
