Ayush Badoni, LSG’s star batsman, took a fabulous catch on the boundary ropes in the sixth delivery of the 15th over. Ramandeep Singh bowled a long delivery on the leg-stump line, and Muhammad Jawadullah made some space to hit in the long-on region, but couldn’t find the time.

All the players in the team applauded his effort and the spectators also applauded when Ramandeep got his second wicket of the day.

After electing to bat first, the UAE could only score 107 in a poor batting effort from their batsmen. Rahul Chopra top-scored with 50 runs off 50 deliveries, helped by two boundaries and three sixes, with a strike rate of 100, while Basil Hameed (22) also played a good knock.
But other batsmen were hugely disappointing and could not continue in the innings. Rasikh Salam bowled brilliantly and took three wickets, while Ramandeep Singh dismissed two batsmen.
During the chase, India A did not get off to a good start as they lost Prabhsimran Singh in the first over. However, Abhishek Sharma (58) and Tilak Varma (21) formed a vital 73-run stand for the second wicket.
Later, Nehal Wadhera (6) and Ayush Badoni (12) completed the remaining work as India A completed the task in 10.5 overs. It was their second consecutive victory of the tournament.
