Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) mentor, Zaheer Khan, has provided an update on the Mohsin Khan pacemaker before the 2025 Premier League season (IPL).
While Mohsin is not yet completely suitable to play Lucknow Super Giants against Delhi Capitals (DC) next week, Zaheer said the franchise cannot reveal more details regarding the problems of injuries to the other pacers in the team.

This occurs at a time when Mayank Yadav is likely that the first half of IPL 2025 will be lost due to a lower back injury, while Avesh Khan and Akash Deep are also working to recover full aptitude.
All of them are currently rehabilitation at the National Academy of Cricket (NCA) in Bengaluru. Mayank, however, began playing bowling on the networks on Monday, but Lucknow’s super giants are waiting for the physical authorization of the BCCI.
“We really cannot say much, since our players are currently with the NCA. We are working with them to see how things advance. The situation is dynamic and when you are talking about the IPL you have to be ready for uncertainties to occur,” said Zaheer Khan at a press conference before the season.
“We plan for the season accordingly with 24 players, we have to present the XI game that defends the Cricket brand that we want and won. This is a positive unit and can see a positive approach,” added the 46 -year -old player.

Mohsin Khan has been with the Lucknow Super Giants since his debut season at IPL 2022. He has taken 27 WICKETS so far since he debuted in IPL that year, in an economy of 8.51. His best 4/16 figures came against Delhi Capitals in IPL 2022.
Lucknow Super Giants will be directed by Rishabh Pant, who was acquired by a record sum of INR 27 million rupees, which makes him the most expensive player in the history of IPL.
