Arjun Tendulkar could receive a hefty fine for his behavior in the ongoing match between Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Supergiants at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Son of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, the left-arm pacer finally got a chance with Mumbai Indians playing eleven in their last league match of the ongoing IPL 2024. Although Mumbai Indians struggled to do well with the ball throughout the season , decided against modifying their eleven too much.

As a result, Arjun Tendulkar did not get a chance to play in the 13 matches so far. However, the five-time champion decided to include the youngster in the team for the last game of the season. He replaced Jasprit Bumrah in the playing eleven. With Mumbai Indians already eliminated from IPL 2024, Bumrah was rested for the match.

Arjun Tendulkar opened the bowling with Nuwan Untilhara and began proceedings with an eventful finish. After Untilhara bowled the first, Arjun delivered the second. On the second ball, Marcus Stoinis was given lbw. However, the Australian all-rounder reviewed the decision and replays showed that the ball would have gone over the stumps.

The Mumbai Indians youngster followed up with two points before Stoinis hit a double. On the last ball of the over, Arjun raised several eyebrows with his aggressive approach. After being defended by Stoinis, the 24-year-old picked up the ball and pretended to be afraid of the stumps as he stared at the Australian star.

Stoinis was furious with the bowler for his gesture and shouted at Arjun, who could be fined for his behavior towards the batsman.
