Former England national cricketer Michael Vaughan has spoken about the dressing room exchange between Pakistan national cricket team captain Shan Masood and head coach Jason Gillespie. The incident between the two took place during the first Test match against Bangladesh at the Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.

The new era of Pakistan national cricket team has started under the leadership of Shan Masood and head coach Jason Gillespie. The duo has been quite actively involved in the team and is making sure to do things right for the team in all aspects.

However, they were involved in a heated argument during the first Test match against the Bangladesh national cricket team. Shan Masood and Jason Gillespie were seen having a lively discussion in the dressing room. It seemed like the team captain was upset about something.

The video of the incident went viral on the internet. While the exact reason for this argument is not yet known, there was speculation that things were not going well in the Pakistan dressing room. There were even reports that captain Masood was involved in the fight with Shaheen Afridi.

Since the video of the incident between Jason Gillespie and Masood went viral, a lot of things have been doing the rounds. After the first match, it was reported that Jason Gillespie, along with the captain, were not lenient with the fast bowlers after their loss in the first match.

Responding to the Shan Masood and Jason Gillespie video, Michael Vaughan said that such discussions usually occur when the coach and captain have played together for three to four games. Sharing his thoughts on the matter, he explained:

“Well, I saw a little video of Shan Masood, the captain, and Dizzy on the balcony playing a bit as well. That was doing the rounds on social media. It’s kind of like, you know, normally it takes at least two or three games to get to that stage, but to get there in your first Test match.”

The Shan Masood-led team did not put up a great performance in the first Test against the Bangladesh national cricket team. They lost the game from the winning position and faced a lot of criticism for their performances, especially after declaring the innings after registering around 450 runs on the board.

Bangladesh then took the lead by over 100 runs and Pakistan were expected to bat well and the match would head towards a draw but that was not to be as they put in a horrible batting performance at the Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium.

The Bangladesh national cricket team set themselves a target of just 30 runs and ended up losing by a margin of 10 wickets and were 1-0 down in the series.
