Your kit has already been shipped to Australia.
In a recent turn of events, it is understood that talismanic fast bowler Mohammed Shami will be called up to join the India team that is currently touring Australia for the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT). Multiple reports claim that Shami’s team has already been sent to Australia and only a fitness clearance from the National Cricket Academy (NCA) medical team remains as a formality.
Mohammed Shami is expected to be considered for selection in the final two BGT matches.
A source aware of the developments revealed to PTI: “Shami’s India kit has already been sent to Australia. He will complete the Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy (SMAT) assignment and then leave.”
After the second test in Adelaide, the third test will begin on December 14. However, Shami’s availability for this game is still uncertain as the SMAT final is also scheduled to be played on December 15.
In particular, some board members believe that Shami’s return to international cricket should not be rushed. However, in light of current events, there is a strong possibility that he could rejoin the team for the fourth test in Melbourne, scheduled to begin on Boxing Day.

Mohammed Shami’s return will ease pressure on Jasprit Bumrah
Shami returned after a long injury layoff and has so far featured in one Ranji Trophy group league match against Madhya Pradesh and also played in the entire SMAT league stage, claiming eight wickets in seven matches.
Shami has also been working hard with the NCA medical team to improve his weight and get fit, and is believed to have lost almost six kilograms.
The Indian team, on the other hand, is struggling in the second Test in Adelaide. After the Australian bowlers defeated India for 180, the Australian batsmen made life difficult for the Indian bowlers, scoring a relatively big total of 337.
Therefore, Shami’s return will ease a lot of pressure on pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who once again delivered a 4-wicket haul and had to shoulder the major responsibility of getting wickets.
