Indian national cricket team captain Suryakumar Yadav has spoken about the things he learned from Test and ODI captain Rohit Sharma. He said he wants to apply the lessons he learned from a veteran hitter to his leadership in the future.

The India T20I captaincy baton was passed to Suryakumar Yadav after Rohit Sharma retired from the format after leading the team to victory in the T20 World Cup 2024. Since then, he has been leading the young team and is making a Excellent job as team captain.

Suryakumar Yadav praised Rohit Sharma’s captaincy during the second Test against Bangladesh and said the way the team played was a testament to great captaincy. “Watching Rohit Sharma bat in the Kanpur Test was like the T20 series had already started. It was a perfect Rohit Sharma-style approach.
