The Pakistan Cricket team has faced the reaction for its bad performances in the ongoing champions trophy. Recently, a report has emerged amid the disappointing performance of the team that has shocked the nation.
The report states that the president of the Cricket Board of Pakistan (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi had asked the national selectors to reconsider the equipment after being selected. However, the Council was ignored and decided to go with the same team.

According to local media reports, the head of PCB, Mohsin Naqvi, was not completely convinced with the Pakistan team for the tournament and had even asked the national selectors to reconsider him once after he was chosen.
The selectors held a meeting after the president’s council, but finally decided to go with the same team. PCB had restructured its National Team Committee after the defeat against England in the first test at home last year.
Aleem Dar’s tastes, Aaqib Javed and Azhar Ali were added to the selection panel and replaced Asad Shafiq and Hassan Chema. Aleem Dar’s addition was especially criticized by the former Cricket players in the country who demand the role of an arbitrator in a selection panel.
Aaqib Javed was the interim coach of the Champions Trophy team. He assumed the role of Gary Kirsten, who decided to resign as coach of the white ball of Pakistan before the tour of Australia last year. Kirsten did not give any reason for his resignation.
