The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has awarded NOC to 30-year-old fast pacer Haris Rauf along with Usama Mir and Zaman Khan for the Big Bash League 2023-24.
Haris Rauf had earlier refused to play the upcoming Test series against the Australian national cricket team. The head coach of Pakistan – Wahab Riaz – had expressed his disappointment over the pacer’s decision to pull out of the series at the last minute citing workload and fitness issues.
It is reported that the PCB will delay the No Objection Certificate to Haris Rauf for his participation in the BBL as the officials wanted the express pacer to participate in the National T20 Cup in Pakistan which runs till December 10.
Now, the PCB has officially issued the NOC to the pacer and he will be seen donning the Melbourne Stars jersey in the upcoming Big Bash League. The Australian T20 league will be played from December 7, 2023 to January 24 next year. The Test series between Pakistan and Australia will also be played during the same period in Australia.
