India stalwarts Rishabh Pant and Ishant Sharma are all set to wow fans with their impeccable skills as Purani Dilli 6 gears up to fire in the inaugural edition of the Delhi Premier League (DPL), which gets underway on Saturday at the Shri Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
Purani Dilli 6 will take on South Delhi Superstarz (DPL) in their opening match of the Delhi Premier League. This will also be the opening match of the DPL as the league starts on Saturday. The opening match is scheduled for August 17 at 8:30 pm, with subsequent matches at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
Purani Dilli 6 comprises a formidable squad built around explosive gloveman Rishabh Pant and experienced spinner Ishant Sharma. The franchise also picked up the services of all-rounder Lalit Yadav and batting all-rounder Shivam Sharma.
Purani Dilli 6 also took 20-year-old opening batsman and off-spinner Arpit Rana and right-arm pacer Prince Yadav.

The inaugural edition of the Delhi Premier League will feature 40 matches, including 33 men’s and 7 women’s matches, all at the prestigious Shri Arun Jaitley Stadium. The tournament will run from August 17 to September 8, 2024 and promises exciting cricketing action for fans and players alike.
