Every time the team has required, Siraj has taken a step forward and has delivered winning actions of the game.
Mohammed Siraj has been part of some incredible victories abroad since his debut and has played a crucial role in most of those victories. The last one in The Oval was another example of the good that has been on foreign soil with the ball, even when I did not have the As Jasprit Bumrah by his side. Every time the team has required, Siraj has taken a step forward and has delivered winning actions of the game.
From his debut game in Melbourne, Siraj was destined to achieve great things and has contributed immensely in such a short period. The best part is that it continues to do it again and again, even when you have little support from the other end. From Gabba 2021 to Oval 2025, Siraj has done what few other Indian bowling players have achieved in their entire career.
We qualify your best performances in the tests over the years.
Gabba 2021 – 9/10
It was only the third game of his test career, and India had an attack with a debutant and another playing his second test. India was without Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Ishant Sharma, and the series was at stake. Then Mohammed Siraj came, who spoke a spell for years and helped India guide a memorable victory.
He took a lonely wickt in the first tickets before delivering a tour of five Wickt in the second to help India group Australia by 294. He took five wickts for 73 races and was the best bowling player in India, discarding the big batters like Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith. His spell instilled confidence in the Indian team that went on to do the unthinkable in the fourth inputs, and the Siraj spell was essential to guarantee the best victory of proof of India.
Lord’s 2021 – 8/10
Virat Kohli wanted Indian bowling players to make 60 about hell for English batters, and Mohammed Siraj did precisely that with the ball. It is worth noting that this was only his seventh and second test on the floor of England, but Siraj never looked like a newcomer and gave everything. It was aggressive, burning and immaculate in both entries.
He took four wickts in each entry, but what he did in the second was really remarkable. He took four wickts while granted only 32 races at 10.5 overs, including the tanks of Jos Buttler and Jonny Bairstow. His spell said that India included England in just 120 at the final entries and registered an epic victory of nothing.

Cape 2024 – 7/10
When the conditions are favorable, Mohammed Siraj is always a great threat. But what he did in Cabo Cabo last year was really surprising. That launch was treacherous to hit, and Siraj made sure it became inaccessible for South African batters.
He squeezed six wickts while granted only 15 races in the first tickets to group South Africa in just 55 years and record the best figures in his career. His spell assured that the game became easier for India, and finally won the contest for seven WICKETS. India leveled the 1-1 series, and Siraj was fundamental in another game that must win for the team.
Edgbaston 2025 – 8/10
This was special in many ways. India had just tested the Bazball and were without Jasprit Bumrah in a flat field where each wickt required immense work. However, Siraj produced a brilliant show in the first tickets, taking six WICKETS for 70 races in 19.3 overs to help India restrict England to 407 despite the impressive tons of Harry Brook and Jamie Smith.
This spell said that India won a strong advantage of the first tickets, which finally proved vital when they won the contest in 336 races. England could have obtained much more without a timely spell of the pacemaker. While this was a game that dominates the batter, the Siraj first entry spell again demonstrated its improved efficacy in flat releases.
Oval 2025 – 9/10
It is not a bias of recent that Mohammed Siraj has gained 9/10 for his last heroics. It was one of the best spells of an Indian bowling player, who also when the game was made and dusty. After taking four wickts in the first tickets, another brilliant performance occurred in the second tickets.
He took five wickts for 104 races, including a magical spell in the first session of day 5, to help India make a historical return. He had previously sought the capture of Harry Brook, who changed the course of the game, but did not let his performance affect. It was fast, acute and was not reproducible in its last overs, moving the game of England before they could know what was happening.
