South African star Quinton de Kock has signed up for the IPL 2025 mega auction at a base price of INR 2 crores. The wicketkeeper-batsman represented Lucknow Super Giants in the last season of the IPL.
In the last IPL season, de Kock scored 250 runs in 11 games with the help of 3 half-centuries. The left-handed batsman’s IPL career began in the year 2013 when he got his first IPL contract with Sunrisers Hyderabad.
He played just three matches for the franchise before joining Delhi Capitals in 2014. While he struggled to make an impact for Delhi in his first two seasons, he enjoyed an impressive campaign for the team in 2016. de Kock scored 445 runs with the help of One century and three half-centuries in IPL 2016.
He missed IPL 2017 due to a finger injury before being registered by Royal Challengers Bengaluru for IPL 2018.
After just one season with the franchise, De Kock was signed by the Mumbai Indians. He played for Mumbai Indians from 2019 to 2021 and won two titles with them.
He scored 529 runs in 2019 and 503 runs in 2020, helping Mumbai win the title in both seasons. Ahead of the 2022 season, Lucknow Super Giants signed him.

Kolkata Knight Riders have signed Quinton de Kock for INR 3.60 crore in the IPL 2025 auction. Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians started the bidding before the Knight Riders made the winning bid.
