Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) faced a great setback to its possibilities of an end in the first two in the Premier Premier League in India (IPL 2025) after Proteas Pacer Lungi Ngidi went abruptly.
He confirmed the news through a publication in his official Instagram mango.
Ngidi wrote: “A disappointing way of leaving the campaign, but cannot express in words how much the support and love of RCB and fans for me have meant supporting the children until the end, thanks RCB Fam”.
In particular, initially Ngidi was expected to go after the game of the final league stage and it was supposed to be available for the playoff stage since he was named in the South Africa team scheduled to face Australia in the World Testing Championship (WTC 2025 final), starting June 11.
RCB has also signed the Zimbabuense pacemaker blessing Muzarabani as a temporary replacement for proteases.

How can RCB end up with a superior ending?
The RCB defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) last night has weakened its possibilities to ensure a place in the top two in the classification. When falling from second to third with 17 points of 13 games, they now depend on other results of parties to keep their hopes alive. For RCB to stay in dispute, they must win their final game while waiting for Punjab Kings (PBK) to lose at least one of his remaining two games. Alternatively, the losses of the Gujarat Titans or the Mumbai Indians in their last games could also work in favor of RCB.
