Delhi Capitals (DC) co-owner Parth Jindal spoke about his aggressive dismissal to Sanju Samson during the DC vs RR clash in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. He said that the captain of the opposing team left and they were worried and , therefore, gave a lively reaction.

Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal has received backlash after giving an aggressive reaction after the wicket of Sanju Samson. The franchise official was seen shouting “Out Hai” “Out Hai” following the controversial dismissal of the RR captain.

Sanju Samson was on top of all the Delhi Capitals bowlers and was taking the game away from the opposition. However, at the crucial junction of the game, he went wide and the game tilted after that. He became part of the controversy as his catch of Shai Hope near the boundary ropes drew a lot of criticism.

Sanju Samson played a flat shot towards length. Shai Hope, who was stationed there, took the catch inches inside the boundary ropes. The third umpire made a quick decision and overturned the matter. However, RR management was not impressed by this.

Parth Jindal, who was in the stands, went crazy and was seen shouting that he was eliminated. His reaction went viral on the internet and received a lot of criticism, especially when he reacted to a batsman approaching his hundred.

A day after that game, Parth Jindal came clean stating that he had a surge of emotions. He also revealed that he congratulated Sanju Samson for making it to the Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2024. On his Twitter account, he explained:

“It was lovely interacting with Manoj and Sanju; it was amazing to witness his power hitting the Kotla. It worried us all a lot, hence the lively reaction when it came out! I also had the pleasure of congratulating him. Great win for our boys!”

Delhi Capitals earlier posted about Parth Jindal meeting with Sanju Samson. They posted the video of the duo interacting with each other and stated:

“Our Chairman and Co-Owner Parth Jindal met Rajasthan Royals Captain Sanju Samson and Owner Manoj Badale at the Arun Jaitley Stadium last night after what was an exceptional cricket match. Parth also congratulated to the skipper RR for being selected for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.”

Delhi Capitals won the game by a margin of 20 runs and remained in the playoff hunt. They are currently in fifth place in the points table with 12 points from 12 games.
