Rajasthan Royals (RR) Riyan Parag star arrived in controversy for her capture of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Devon Conway during the CSK vs RR shock today (May 20) in the Premier League of the current India (IPL 2025).
The incident occurred in the fourth ball of the second on the CSK entrances. Conway loaded in a delivery of Yudhvir Singh and ended up marking this directly in half. Parag took the capture, but it didn’t seem to cling to the ball for so long and released it immediately.
While Parag managed to escape a warning of the referees, fans detected quickly and timed that the ball was not in the hands of Riyan even for 0.2 seconds.
There is no official rule for Holw, a capture must be maintained, but according to rule 33.3 of the MCC, “the act of making a capture will begin from the moment the ball enters into contact with the person of a filter and will end when a gardener obtains complete control over the ball and his own movement.”

Speaking about the CSK vs RR, the royals play their last game of the season tonight and will seek to finish their season in a maximum.
They presented a disciplined bowling of bowling with the Akash Madhwal and Yudhvir Singh pacemakers taking three chasing leathers each to restrict CSK to 187 by 8 in 20 overs.
The side led by Sanju Samson is currently also comfortable in his persecution and seems to be sailing.
At the time of writing this report, the score of the Rajasthan Royals read 112 for 1 in 11.1 overs with Sanju Samson and Vaibhav suryavanshi bat in the middle.
