Rohit said he is familiar with the style of Gambhir and Nayar and is impressed with how smoothly Morkel has adapted to the coaching role.
However, Indian captain Rohit has not had much interaction with Ryan but is well aware of the former Dutch all-rounder’s calming influence.
Ahead of the first Test against Bangladesh in Chennai, Rohit is confident that his players will gel well with the new coaching team, with each bringing their own unique style to the table, stressing that adapting to different coaching techniques comes naturally.

After 17 years of playing international cricket, the Indian captain said he is well aware that every coach brings his own philosophy to the table.
Whether he has worked with Rahul Dravid, Vikram Rathour or Paras Mhambrey in the past or now with the new coaches, things will be the same and Rohit said he is ready to adapt to new perspectives in the team.
Rohit said: “I know Gautam Gambhir and Abhishek Nayar very well. Against Morne Morkel, we played very tough cricket. Ryan, I didn’t get much of a chance either, but from what I have been able to gather, he seems quite understanding in Sri Lanka. Like I said, I know Gautam Gambhir very well. They all have their own style – Rahul, Paras and Vikram had their own style.”
“I have worked with different coaches, I have been playing for 17 years, so I know that everyone has different perspectives and you have to adapt to them. We don’t have any problems per se, understanding is very important and we have it,” he concluded.
