Sajid Khan jokingly shows three fingers to Brydon Carse on day two [WATCH]

It is not sure if it was the main reason, but the video of the entire event is viral on social media platforms, with netizens enjoying Sajid’s antics.

During the final moments of the second day of the second Test between Pakistan and England, Sajid Khan showed three fingers to Brydon Carse, who was relatively new to the area. The event occurred when Sajid finished his 17th during the spell, completing 48 overs of England’s innings.

Carse was going to talk to his partner after finishing the set when Sajid came up with this antics. He made the number three on his fingers with a cheeky little smile on his face, which looked like a joke.

While it’s not conclusive, Sajid was probably doing a concussion test in jest because a ball had hit Carse’s helmet moments ago. As the rules say, if a ball hits a batsman’s head, a concussion test is mandatory, and while the batsman did not require it because the hit was not severe, Sajid did not stop having fun with the English player.

Pakistan in the driver’s seat after the end of Day 2

Talking about the game, Pakistan made a solid comeback during the final session of the second day of the second Test between Pakistan and England. At one stage, England were comfortably at 211/2, but a collapse turned the tide in Pakistan’s favor during the final session.

From 211/2, England fell to 225/6 in 18 balls to bring Pakistan back into the game. Sajid Khan did the most damage in the innings, taking four wickets for 86 runs in his 19-over spell.

Initially, he didn’t have enough spin, but once the game progressed to the post-tea session, Sajid got a whopping 4.3° of spin, compared to 3.1° before tea. Other bowlers, especially Noman Ali, also bowled in tight areas and picked up two wickets in 21 overs.

After the end of the day, England were 239/6 and needed another 127 runs to equal Pakistan’s score. Pakistan will hope to take the remaining wickets as soon as possible to gain a useful lead in the first innings as the ball will spin more and the spinners will come into play more.
