The Women’s Selection Committee has announced the Team India (Senior Women) squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia. One notable absence from the team is Shafali Verma.
Harmanpreet Kaur will captain the Indian team for the three-match ODI series against Australia next month. This series is part of the ICC Women’s Championship, and both India and Australia have already qualified for the ICC Women’s World Cup 2026.

Smriti Mandhana will act as the vice-captain of the series. Yastika Bhatia and Richa Ghosh are the designated goalkeepers in the 16-player squad. Richa, who missed the New Zealand series due to her class 12 board exams, has now rejoined the team.
