The Indian national cricket team has suffered a major blow ahead of the three-match T20I series against the Bangladesh national cricket team. All-rounder Shivam Dube, on the eve of the first match between both teams, has been ruled out of the three matches.
Shivam Dube suffered a back injury before the first T20I and was deemed unfit to participate in the series. The Board of Control for Cricket in India issued the official statement and also announced Tilak Varma as the left-hander’s replacement.
“All-rounder Shivam Dube is ruled out of the three-match T20I series due to a back injury. The Senior Selection Committee has named Tilak Varma as Shivam’s replacement. Tilak will join the team in Gwalior on Sunday morning” .
