Shreyas Iyer, Isehan Kishan returns to the BCCI central contracts list; The young SRH also included

There are few players who have not qualified for the central contract this season.

The BCCI has announced the central contracts for the 2025-26 season, since Shreyas Iyer made an expected return to the list after a successful Champions Trophy 2025 campaign.

The trial captain and Odi Rohit Sharma along with his predecessor Virat Kohli and the Star Jasprit Bumrah pacemakers have retained A-Plus category contracts. Kohli and Rohit had announced the retirement of T20IS in June last year after winning the 2024 T20 World Cup in the Caribbean. Ravindra Jadeja, who also announced his retirement from T20is, is also at the upper level.

Gatter-Batter Rishabh Pant has been promoted to the degree category and has replaced Ravichandran Ashwin, who retired from the international cricket earlier this year.

The new inclusions were the Sunrisers Hyderabad NITISH Kumar Reddy and Abhishek Sharma duo, as well as the Pacer Delhi Harshit Rana, who made his debut for the entire format recently.

Varun Chakravarthy, who made a successful return next to T20i and made his debut in Odi, has also been included in the degree category C.

Shreyas, who was out of the list last year, returned to the list in the Boaches B.
