Strange scenes in the Ranji trophy! Ajinkya Rahane called again from the dressing room despite having been fired, was the time of Shardul Thakur exhausted?

Rahane could not make the most of the pardon.

The current clash of the Ranji 2024-25 trophy between Mumbai and Jammu and Kashmir (J & K) witnessed some strange scenes.

During the 25, Ajinkya Rahane was fired by J & K Umar Nazir Mir bowl when Shardul Thakur went out to hit next. However, Thakur was prevented from entering the area because it was considered that it had been late and the referees were verifying a possible expulsion for dead time.

Shortly after, Ajinkya Rahane could be seen returning from Dugout. With confusion, it was later learned that the referees were actually checking if there was a lack of ball, which offered Rahane a lifeguard.

While Thakur returned, Rahane could not make the most of the respite since he was a victim of Mir in the first ball of his next over and went for only 16 races.
