Former Indian batsman and wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik praised T20I specialists Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku Singh after the 3-0 win over Sri Lanka in the T20I series. Dinesh Karthik said that Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku are budding superstars for the Indian national cricket team.

Suryakumar Yadav led the Indian team to a 3-0 win in his first assignment as India’s full-time captain in T20Is. The Men in Blue dominated all three matches during the recently concluded T20I series. Suryakumar was named ‘Man of the Match’ for guiding his team to victory as both a player and captain.

Suryakumar was not included in India’s squad for the three-match ODI series during the same tour. Rinku also failed to make it to India’s squad for the 50-over series. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli returned to the team after a break following the 2024 T20 World Cup, where India secured the coveted trophy.
