Since the last few months, the International Cricket Council has been working hard to prepare the ground in New York for the T20 World Cup 2024. The stadium is now completed and will also host the blockbuster India vs Pakistan match.

The T20 World Cup 2024 will begin from June 1. However, before that, the teams will face each other in warm-up games. The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium will see India play the first match on the ground and a large crowd is expected.

T20 USA CEO Brett Jones spoke about the opening of the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York and said they are excited to announce an opportunity for local residents to see it firsthand. He stated:

“We are delighted to be able to open this warm-up match to the public and, above all, to be able to offer another opportunity for local residents to see first-hand what is happening in their backyard.

“It is important to note that tickets and/or hospitality remain available for every match at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium and we encourage fans to get them while they can to ensure we have a full venue as we welcome these incredible athletes from everyone”.

The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium has a capacity of 34,000 and will also feature four walk-in pitches that ICC has brought from Australia.
