The duo has previously worked together during Dravid’s mandate as coach of the Indian team.
Rajasthan Royals has reinforced his coaching staff before the next season of Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) gathering Rahul Dravid with former India Spinner Sairaj Bahutule.
Bahutule will come in the role of a rotating bowling coach in the real configuration and will be a familiar face in the shelter in season IPL 2025. He had previously worked for the Royals between 2018 and 21.
In RR, he will work with the bowling coach Shane Bond, the former New Zealand Bologna player who has been serving in this paper for the franchise. In addition, he will collaborate with Chief coach Rahul Dravid, with whom he had previously worked during Dravid’s mandate as head coach of the Indian team.
Bahutule, however, did not work as a full -time coach for Team India. Instead, he accompanied the team in international tours in a temporary role and also traveled to Sri Lanka along with chief coach Gautam Gambhir last year.

Bahutule was more recently associated with the National Academy of Cricket (NCA) in Bengaluru, which is now called the Center of Excellence (COE).
Speaking about recent developments, the 52 -year -old man was summoned by Cricbuzz,
“The discussions are ongoing, and I am close to finishing my participation in the franchise. There are still some details to solve, but I am excited to realize with the real ones. I am also delighted to meet with Rahul. He was the one who introduced me to the Indian team during the last Border-Gavaskar trophies series in 2023 when I worked as Spin-Bowling coach. I was also part of his coaching staff in Sri Lanka, so I’m looking forward to our meeting. “
Bahautule, during his game days, was a first -class leg spinner in the First Class Cricket, participating in 188 games and claiming 630 Wickts for 21 years of career. He also represented India in two test matches and eight ODI.
