The former RCB coach suggests a new batting position for Rishabh Pant before his IPL 2025 Clash vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

He scored a six ball doll in the previous game.

The former coach of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Sanjay Banggar, advised Rishabh Pant to open the tickets in his second party of India Premier League (IPL) 2025 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Previously, the newly appointed Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain could not add any race to the total team in his first franchise, since his former teammate Kuldeep Yadav fired him for a duck.

However, LSG Establish a gigantic objective of 210 against Delhi CapitalS (DC) with the help of two blows by Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran. They scored 72 and 75 at a 200 and 250 strike rate, respectively. David Miller’s 19-27 was not also contributed to the hopes of his first game. But the 66 of Ashutosh Sharma was not (31) proved to be the winner of the match for DC.

The former RCB coach, Sanjay Banggar, believes that PANT will stand out in the first order in the Ball White Cricket. He also suggested replacing Aiden Markram proteas, who only managed to score 15 in his last game, with the pacemaker Joseph Joseph.

“I always believed that in the white ball format, the best position for him is at the top. Let him open the tickets. Leave Markram and get Shamar Joseph. The average order does not change with regard to batters abroad,” he said.

In addition, he emphasized the strong Pant statistics against the turn and the rhythm in the longest formats while advising the management that uses it at the top of the batting order.

“Libere Rishabh Pant. Rishabh, as a batter, in the longest format has shown that he is also a much better player against the quality rhythm. He has the reputation of hitting the turn. He has done it well against the rhythm. So use it at the top of the order,” he told the announcers.

But in reality, Banggar’s suggestion contradicts Pant statistics while opening. The Wicktkeeper-Bater has played four times as a starter in its 111 IPL inputs and has an average record of 26 and a strike rate of 136.84.

Lucknow Super Giants will face the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium tonight.
