She was trolled online after making the post on Kohli’s birthday.

Former Indian captain and star batsman Virat Kohli celebrated his 36th birthday yesterday (November 5).

As wishes poured in from fans and athletes alike, among them was an Italian footballer who extended warm wishes to Kohli on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

Agata Isabella Centasso, an Italian soccer player, however, did not have a pleasant experience after taking office.

She was a victim of online harassment as few users ended up trolling her, following which she was forced to post another tweet highlighting the negativity she faced every time she posted about Virat Kohli.

Check out some of the reactions to Agata’s post.

Agata wrote: “Every time I post something about Virat Kohli or cricket, there is always someone who brings negativity. I honestly don’t understand why. Namaste 🙏🏻

Virat Kohli has been going through a rough patch

Talking about Kohli, he was recently signed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ahead of the IPL 2025 auction for a staggering amount of INR 21 crore, making him the second highest-paid retained player. Apart from that, Kohli is also rumored to once again take over the RCB captaincy from next season.

Kohli, however, has been struggling with his form and his fortunes did not change in the recent IND vs NZ three-match Tests, posting scores of 0, 70, 1, 17, 4 and 1 in the six innings.

To put things into perspective, Kohli’s statistics in Test cricket have seen a significant decline since 2020, with just two centuries scored during this time.

With the Border Gavaskar Trophy scheduled next, Kohli will look to assess and fix specific areas in his batting as India chase a record-breaking hat-trick of wins in Australia.
