Fans on Twitter reacted after Gujarat Titans pulled off a nail-biter against Rajasthan Royals in the 24th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The match between the two teams took place at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday (April 10).

When asked to bat, Rajasthan Royals got off to a decent start to their innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal (24) played a crucial role for her team early on. But his wicket scalped Jos Buttler and the hosts were 42/2.

However, after that, captain Sanju Samson (68) took charge along with Riyan Parag (76) and put the Gujarat Titans under immense pressure at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium. They added 130 runs together and put their team in a commanding position in the game.

Based on his excellent effort with the bat, Rajasthan Royals posted a total of 196 runs on the board, which did not seem possible at one point of time. For Gujarat Titans, Rashid Khan was the pick of the players with his figures of 1/28 while all other players scored 9+.

Sai Sudharsan (36) and Shubman Gill (72) gave their vital start in the chase. The duo added 64 runs for the opening partnership and kept their team in the hunt. But the left-hander’s wicket evened the game in favor of Rajasthan Royals, who picked quick wickets.

After Shubman Gill got out, Gujarat Titans were reeling at 133/5 and looked like they lost the game completely. But after that, Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan tilted the game in their team’s favor and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.

With 15 runs needed in the last over, Rashid Khan (24*) and Rahul Tewatia (22) hit some strong knocks and sealed the game for their team. Gujarat Titans chased down the target with 3 wickets in hand and registered their third win of the tournament.
