“Virat Kohli is a great legend. The way he talks and treats people, the way he helps the players and welcomes everyone is very nice. He is very humble and a very nice guy,” said Shadab Khan.
The 35-year-old batsman has represented the national team in 113 Test matches, 192 ODIs and 117 T20 internationals. He has scored 8848 runs in Tests, 13848 runs in ODIs and 4037 runs in T20Is. The star batsman has smashed 80 centuries and 139 half-centuries so far.
Kohli stands out as the only player in the history of international cricket to reach 50 ODI centuries. He reached the milestone in the 2023 World Cup semi-final against New Zealand. He emerged as the top scorer of the tournament, but the team failed to clinch the trophy.
Kohli is one of the fittest cricketers in the world. The former captain showed excellent fitness through agile fielding and quick running between the wickets. He transitioned to a vegetarian diet during India’s tour of South Africa in 2018.
