The pacemakers of South Africa, Anrich Nortje, has opened its omission of the national team in all formats. The injuries have persecuted Anrich Nortje recently. He exceeded a back injury, which meant that a part of SA20 and the entire 2025 champions trophy was lost.

South Africa will be in action during the final of the World Testing Championship of 2025 against Australia in Lord’s since June 11. Nortje, however, is not part of the team. South Africa has not won a CPI trophy since the Knockout Trophy of ICC 1998 was secured.

Australia, on the other hand, are the defending champions of the World Testing Championship, which have defeated India in the 2023 WTC final.

“I have been available during the last year from before the World Cup until December, and I was only selected again in December to play. There were some series for which I was not chosen, mainly to give opportunities to others.”

“Then, from my side, I have been available to play for my country, but they have not pressed my button.”

The 31 -year -old played for the last time for South Africa in the 2024 T20 World Cup final against India last year in June. It ended with 2/26 figures of four overs. The tournament ended with 15 Wickts when the proteas suffered a finalist ending, losing to India in the final.

Both his last hate and his trial matches arrived in 2023. The ODI World Cup 2023 had been lost due to the back injury. Anrich Nortje has played 83 games in formats for South Africa so far and has taken a combined 159 wickts count.
