India defeated England in the T20 World Cup semi-final in Guyana and confirmed their place in the ICC T20 World Cup final on Saturday under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. This is the first time they have reached the World Cup final since 2014.

India also took revenge against England in the last T20 World Cup. England beat India in that match and India took revenge in this game. They scored 171 batting and bowled out the opposition for a paltry 103.

Star Sports pundits Navjot Singh Sindhu, Piyush Chawla, Ishant Sharma and Sreesanth praised the Indian team for their brilliant win. They all shared their reactions to India’s famous win. However, Sreesanth went to the extent of criticising the England team and asked them to take on Pakistan and Australia, the teams India beat in this World Cup.

“Revenge? Yes, that is a one-sided victory. It is not revenge. It is not revenge, it is a one-sided triumph (this was a one-sided victory; this is not called revenge; this is called seeing them go home happily),” Sreesanth said in a Star Sports video when asked if India had avenged the semi-final defeat in the 2022 edition of the tournament.

“Brother, go train and come see me later. Pakistan and Australia are also home, go and meet them (guys, come back, train and then come later; Pakistan and Australia are also home, go meet them),” said. added more.

They found a way to win some close games and trusted the team. Rohit Sharma has led the team beautifully and has led by example of being aggressive with the bat.

Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah have now accounted for 28 wickets, along with the left-arm spinner taking 15 wickets and Bumraj 13 so far.

This is also India’s second-longest winning streak and the most wins (7) for them in a single edition of the T20 World Cup. India and South Africa are undefeated and the unbeaten streak of one of these teams will end in the final. The team that wins the World Cup will have an undefeated streak throughout the competition.
