We look at 3 IPL stars who will lose their ‘Uncapped Player’ status in IND vs BAN T20I.

The three-match T20I series between India and Bangladesh will begin on Sunday (October 6) in Gwalior. Team India has several new names who impressed in the Bangladesh series.

Most of the players who impressed in IPL 2024 are included in the series, and rightly so. Some of them have not played for India yet but will probably get a chance at some point in the series.

We look at 3 IPL stars who will lose their ‘Uncapped Player’ status in IND vs BAN T20I.

Nitish Kumar Reddy

Nitish Kumar Reddy was among the most interesting players in the previous edition and showed signs of being a potential all-format player at the highest level. He was selected for the Zimbabwe series earlier this year but an injury ruled him out.

However, he will definitely be able to play as an all-rounder even if Hardik Pandya is available. Reddy’s limitation would cause more headaches for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), who already have a glut problem ahead of the IPL 2025 auction.

Mayank Yadav

Mayank Yadav is the latest beat sensation in the city, and the buzz around him is obvious. No wonder he has been quickly moved into the Indian set-up and is in line to debut in the Bangladesh series.

Mayank has 7 wickets at an average of 12.14 and a strike rate of 10.42 in four outings while playing for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2024. He can trouble Bangladesh batsmen with his pace and should have the opportunity to debut.

Harshit Rana

Harshit Rana was among the best bowlers in IPL 2024 and played a crucial role in Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) victory. He snared 19 wickets at an average of 20.15 and a strike rate of 13.31 in 11 outings.

Rana was part of the Zimbabwe series but could not play any of the five matches. However, he is expected to play some games in this match as he is among the few pacers in the team.
