The Indian team is taking special preparations for its next Champions Trophy 2025 final tomorrow tomorrow (March 9) against New Zealand.
It has been understood that the openers of India, Captain Rohit Sharma and Vice-Capitán Shubman Gill participated in a separate batting session in the ICC Academy today. They were accompanied by some members of the support personnel and launch experts, together with the batting coach and assistant coach SitaShu Kotak and Abhisehk Nayar, respectively.
In particular, Gill and Rohit are two Linchpins in the Indian batting attack and it will be very important for the couple to have a burning beginning against the Kiwis in the marques clash. The batting practice can be useful to assume the attack on opposition bowling players to the principle of Indian entries.

While the rest of the team would train at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium from 2 pm, local time, Rohit and Gill had already begun their earlier practice in the day. The rest of the team arrived at the stadium for the scheduled session, but Rohit and Gill joined a little later, after initially practiced at the ICC Academy.
Unlike his teammates, the duo did not travel to the stadium on the team bus. Key players such as Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, along with coach Gautam Gambhir and bowling coach Morne Morkel, arrived at the stadium in the afternoon. The team was scheduled to undergo a field session under the intense heat of the sun.
