Indian batsman Virat Kohli is currently enjoying his time off from cricket after the 2024 T20 World Cup triumph. The top-order batsman is spending quality time with his family in London and was spotted taking a casual stroll with his son Akaay on Thursday (July 18).

After winning the 2024 T20 World Cup in Barbados, Virat Kohli returned to India with the team and celebrated the victory in Delhi and Mumbai. The opening batsman was one of the main men behind the team’s victory parade on the streets of Mumbai and later at the Wankhede Stadium.

However, immediately after the victory parade and celebrations at the Wankhede Stadium, Virat Kohli left for London. There are reports that the batsman and his family will move to London as they do not enjoy stardom and want to live a normal life like any other person.

Since then, Virat Kohli is in London and enjoying his time with his family. On Thursday, July 18, the Indian batsman was seen cradling his son Akaay, alongside his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, and daughter Vamika.

Virat Kohli and his family were spotted at the flower shop. This was the first time he appeared with his son. In a clip that went viral on the internet, the attacker was seen holding Akaay, with his wife Anushka and daughter Vamika by his side, near a flower shop.

Virat Kohli to take part in ODI series against Sri Lanka

Team India’s next match will be against the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team. The Men in Blue will play three ODIs and three T20Is on their tour of the island nation. There were rumours abound that Virat Kohli would miss the 50-overs games as he has been granted rest by the BCCI.

However, Virat Kohli has made himself available and will play the series against the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team. The ODI series will be a great preparation for them ahead of the upcoming Champions Trophy in 2025.

Virat Kohli will be the key factor for India in the upcoming ODIs. He last played for the team in the 50-overs format during the ICC T20 World Cup 2023 where he finished as the leading run-scorer with 765 to his name and also broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 centuries in the format.
