Indian wrist bowler Kuldeep Yadav has picked three Indian batsmen who are difficult to bowl in all three formats of the game ahead of the match against Australia in the T20 World Cup 2024.

In the T20Is, Kuldeep Yadav picked Suryakumar Yadav. The spinner, while talking about the reason for choosing him, stated that the batsman is very offensive and plays different types of shots. He admitted that spinners face a lot of difficulties while bowling with him. Speaking to journalist Vimal Kumar, he explained:

“Surya in T20. I think he plays very well against spinners. He is very attacking. His shots are also very different. Sweep, reverse sweep, slow sweep. So spinners have some problems.”

Without a doubt, Suryakumar Yadav is one of the toughest batsmen to face in T20I cricket. The number one ranked T20I batsman of recent years has done no wrong in the shortest format of the game and has set new standards for how T20 cricket should be played.

Suryakumar Yadav’s ability to hit shots all over the park makes him unique. The middle-order batsman has often been compared to AB de Villiers and many even rate him higher than the former South Africa batsman, which speaks volumes about his caliber as a batsman.

Talking about that day, Kuldeep Yadav went with captain Rohit Sharma and in the Tests, he backed Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara. He said, “In one day, obviously, Rohit Bhai. In the test, I think Puji Bhai and Virat Bhai.”

Rohit Sharma has been an absolute beast in the ODIs. The Indian captain since the last decade has been sensational and has been the backbone of the team. He is rated as the best opening batsman in the 50-over format and has also scored three double centuries, which is the most by any batsman.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli has been nothing short of exceptional in Test cricket. Not just in the longest format of the game, but he is currently among the best batsmen in all formats. Cheteshwar Pujara is rated as the modern wall and it is fair to say that what he can do in Test cricket, no one has that pedigree.

Kuldeep Yadav weaves web around Bangladesh batsmen in T20 World Cup

Kuldeep Yadav is currently part of the Indian squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. He was last seen in action during the match against Bangladesh. Spinner was one of the main reasons why the Rohit Sharma-led team won the game and inched closer to the semi-finals of the tournament.

Kuldeep Yadav bowled 4 overs in the game and tilted the game in favor of his team. The roulette wheel chose 3 windows and returned with the numbers 19/3. His sensational effort saw India restrict Bangladesh to a total of 146 runs after posting 196 runs and winning the game by 50 runs.
